most women are doing way too much.
We are drowning in our to-do lists while being surrounded by messages that say:
“Step it up! Do better. Be skinnier. Own your life.”
So on top of the everyday overwhelm, we now get to watch the success of other women paraded in front of our faces daily.

This is a place to LET GO of all that is noisy and unimportant and crowding in on you.
This is the place to focus on the few things that really matter.
Your relationship with God.
Healing.
Your sexuality and connection with your husband.
Loving your beautiful babies.
Keeping your mind and body strong.
And doing your work. The work that is meaningful and makes you come to life.
I lived the first 20-something years of life detached from God, not knowing real peace or joy, and straining to control certain things and people- all stemming from a brokenness and unhealthy spirit deep within.
I’m so glad that I was pathetic enough to fall SO hard, because that is when I finally looked up and surrendered to God. I knew where to turn because of my Dad’s influence in my life. I turned to Jesus.
After God picked me up out of the dirt, dusted me off and did an absolute miracle in my love life- I felt he was calling me to write my first book for young women in unhealthy, ungodly relationships.
Nowadays, with a bustling home, my struggles look different.
Stewarding well what God has entrusted to me and surrendering to his ways over my own are what it’s all about for me.
And pointing women to a real relationship with Jesus is at the heart of this ministry.
“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:33
The joy and stability of this scripture has absolutely saturated my life for the past 15 years, and I want it for you as well.
It is my absolute joy and pleasure to serve you with my words, woman-to-woman, mom-to-mom, wife-to-wife.
I live in a small, back-roadsy town in the Berkshires with my old-school, athletic, hunky husband Derek and our four sweet (and crazy) kiddos.
Some of my favorite things include breakfast burrito dates with my husband, college basketball, tennis, a big pot of soup and company, stupid dancing, early mornings on the beach, my son Jack’s cheeks and my husband’s hands.
While so many others are seeking recognition and likes, I am busy trying to be a rockstar to my family. I want THEM to think I’m beautiful, kind, and the best thing since sliced bread! I try to set the tone of phones away, patience, joy and playfulness within these walls.
And at night when I crawl into bed, I want my father in heaven to be proud of me.
I keep my life simple & uncluttered so I can love on my family and do a few things well.
I do this work in the small, two-hour window when my boys take a nap- and trust that God will bloom and multiply it into what he wants it to be.
I love this mantra from Hillary Rushford:
“How can I live an extraordinary and brilliant life, with simplicity and grace...”
